Searching for volunteer Audiologists! Join our clinic on March 22nd! Dear friends, supporters, and communities, Thank you all for your continuing efforts to support Flying Samaritans at UCLA. We are a student run organization that is committed to serve our communities in Rancho Escondido and Colonia Margarita Moran in Tijuana, Mexico. Our goal is to provide our community with free clinic and dental services, while providing our patients with proper health education to promote healthier lifestyles. This month, we are aiming to expand our services by offering both vision and hearing screenings, and we are relying on your help to make this possible! We are currently searching for Audiologists who would be willing to donate their time at our upcoming clinic and help serve our patients. We would appreciate any form of support, as we are in need of volunteers to provide care for our patients. Calling all Healthcare Providers! Join the Flying Samaritans Team on January 18th! Dear friends and community, We hope you are all safe and well during these challenging times. We are Flying Samaritans at UCLA, a student run organization that is dedicated to serve our communities in Rancho Escondido and Colonia Margarita Moran in Tijuana, Mexico. Our goal is to provide our community with free clinic and dental services, while providing our patients with proper health education to promote healthier lifestyles. Our team works alongside volunteer physicians, nurses, PA's, as well as medical students who join our mission to provide adequate care to our communities in need. We travel to our own clinic site once a month with the help of medical professionals who generously donate their time to help make our clinic run. We are searching for volunteer providers and OB/GYN's who may be interested in joining us on January 18th, as our clinic theme for January will be focused on women's health! Searching for Volunteer Providers! Dear friends and supporters, We are Flying Samaritans at UCLA, dedicated to work alongside physicians, nurses, dentists, and other healthcare providers to provide free clinics to the underserved communities of Colonia Margarita Moran and Rancho Escondido located in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. We aim to offer vital medical care and support that our communities otherwise may not have access to in Tijuana. Our Mission: Our Flying Samaritans chapter at UCLA serves the rural communities of Rancho Escondido and Colonia Margarita Moran. Our program takes a unique approach to healthcare by promoting public health awareness and preventive medicine. We work to enable the people of these communities to take their health into their own hands and make healthy lifestyle choices for themselves and their families by giving them the tools, knowledge, and skills to do so. By making regular monthly trips to Rancho Escondido and Colonia Margarita Moran, we hope to vastly increase the community’s access to medical care and establish a solid relationship with the residents, encouraging them to make regular monthly checkups a part of a healthy lifestyle.
