Fly Fishing in Maine

Mission Statement: Fly Fishing in Maine (FFIM) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting, protecting and preserving Maine's fisheries. Through education and conservation we aim to share our passion with others in the community and introduce newcomers old and young to our sport. Our conservation activities target preservation of our fisheries and their environment, in an effort to ensure quality fly fishing in Maine for generations to come. FFIM has raised nearly $35,000 that has gone directly toward our conservation and eduation grant program. Past award winners have included the Save the Rapid Coalition, Casting for Recovery, Saco Salmon Club, Maine TU Youth Camp, Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, RRG&SA "Live the Legend" Program, Rangeley Lakes Heritgate Trust, and more. In staying true to our mission, FFIM will select a cause(s) each year and donate 100% of proceeds of our annual Spring Conclave to further the efforts that align with the mission: promotion, protection and preservation. In addition, through our Grassroots Grants program, FFIM will provide additional funding through the year for programs that align with our mission and benefit Maine's fisheries and the fishing community.
