Hello LinkedIn Connections, I wanted to take a moment to highlight the special relationship between Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF) and Floyd's 99 Barbershop and to bring awareness to our annual fundraiser taking place in our shops throughout the month of August. Breakthrough T1D leads the global research effort to keep people with type 1 diabetes healthy and safe until a cure is found. Type 1 diabetes (T1D) is an autoimmune disease that can affect both children and adults, regardless of diet or lifestyle, and currently has no cure. Our partnership with Breakthrough T1D began after our founder Paul O’Brien’s daughter Sarah was diagnosed with T1D at the age of 7. Since then, Floyd's 99 Barbershop has been committed to supporting this cause. Together, with the help of our clients, we have raised close to 2 million towards T1D research. This August, we invite you to join us in supporting this vital organization. Your donations directly impact the lives of those living bravely with T1D.
