This specialized hybrid ventilated enclosure is designed to protect personnel during small-batch tablet and capsule bottling applications using the CAPSULCN CDR-5A unit. It features removable glove panels for versatility of containment, dependent on the materials used. Today, there are changes taking place in many aspects of fume hood testing. The following article examines ANSI / ASHRAE 110, the most used fume hood test in North America. While this standard is undergoing serious revision, the question persists regarding what we test fume hoods for and whether our evaluative horizon is wide enough. Further articles are planned covering some new equipment and methods working to sharpen our understanding of all things containment. This specialized containment enclosure is designed for personnel protection during solid dosing operations using a high-precision robot. Built with a polypropylene superstructure, clear acrylic viewing ports, and a black phenolic resin base, this enclosure ensures safety by containing powders and fumes during critical processes. Equipped with dual HEPA filtration, a Bag-in/Bag-out system, and an internal LED light for visibility, it also includes an iris port on either side for flexible process customization.
