  • The real reason why your pelvic floor exercises aren’t working might surprise you… ?? You’re doing your Kegels every day, but leaks and tension persist. Everyday moments like laughing or sneezing still catch you off guard. What if it isn’t about the effort you’re putting in, but how you’re doing it? The TRUTH is that traditional pelvic floor work focuses solely on contraction. Without learning how to relax and integrate your core, chronic tension sets in. A holistic approach combining mindful release with functional movement can transform your results. ? Want to experience the difference for yourself? • Yoga is more than movement—it’s a bridge to deeper connection. ?? Research shows that strong social connections contribute to longevity, cognitive health, and emotional resilience as we age. At the same time, movement-based practices like yoga enhance mobility, balance, and overall well-being. Yoga uniquely integrates both: a space to build strength and flexibility while fostering presence, community, and shared growth. Studies suggest that group exercise not only improves physical health but also reduces stress and enhances feelings of belonging. When we move, breathe, and support one another, we don’t just age—we flourish. ?? Looking for a welcoming yoga community designed to help you stay strong, balanced, and connected? • I wish more women knew this about their pelvic floor… ???? Pelvic floor dysfunction isn’t just about weak muscles—it’s about how your body manages pressure. Every inhale, exhale, movement, and even posture affects the balance between your pelvic floor, diaphragm, and core. If this system is out of sync, it can lead to leaks, prolapse, pain, or tension—no matter how many Kegels you do! True pelvic health isn’t just about squeezing—it’s about learning to coordinate breath, movement, and core stability & activation for long-term strength and function. ?? Want to take control of your pelvic health? Join my free 7-day pelvic floor challenge and start feeling the difference! https://lnkd.in/eQF5RkUH #pelvicfloorhealth #corestrength #breathwork #womenswellness #holistichealth #healthyaging #functionalmovement

  • Tell me if this sounds familiar: ??You’ve been doing Kegels religiously, yet unexpected leaks still catch you off guard. ?? You feel a persistent tension in your pelvic area—even after every “exercise.” ?? You’re frustrated because despite your best efforts, everyday movements like laughing or sneezing still trigger discomfort. ?? If this is you, don’t worry, this is actually much more common! The TRUTH is… It’s not that you’re not putting in the effort with your pelvic floor exercises. The REAL problem is that traditional pelvic floor exercises focus solely on contraction without teaching your body to relax, release, and integrate these muscles with your core and overall movement. When you only tighten without learning how to let go, you’re setting yourself up for chronic tension and ineffective results. ? But the good news is, with a holistic approach that includes mindful release, proper breathing, and functional movement, you can truly retrain your pelvic floor to work with your body, not against it. Think about it… Once you learn how to properly engage, relax, and integrate your pelvic floor with full-body movements, you’ll enjoy improved bladder control, reduced discomfort, and a newfound confidence that carries you through every day with ease ? • Your pelvic floor doesn’t function in isolation—it moves in sync with your breath. ??? When your breath is restricted or shallow, your pelvic floor is restricted as well, which can impact its ability to function properly. Many of us are caught in a pattern of forward compression—tight backs, stiff ribs, and shallow breathing—which prevents the pelvic floor from relaxing and contracting naturally. When we breathe in a limited way, we aren't giving the pelvic floor the full range of motion it needs to maintain optimal function. That’s where 3D breath comes in. Instead of just breathing into the belly, we expand in three dimensions: ? Into the belly, encouraging gentle release and engagement of the pelvic floor ? Into the ribs, allowing for expansion that opens up the diaphragm and enhances mobility ? Into the back body, creating space for a full, natural breath that supports posture and core stability This holistic approach promotes better coordination between the diaphragm and pelvic floor, creating a more balanced movement pattern. When your breath and pelvic floor are in sync, it allows for improved strength, function, and relaxation, giving you more control and comfort throughout daily activities. ??
