This week, ELDP Class 14 gathered in Maitland for FFVA 101. ?? Sessions led by staff members featured presentations on labor issues, the challenges of the fresh citrus segment, ag water policy, food safety, environmental regulations and more. ?? Guest speakers included Robert Guenther, executive vice president of the Florida Tomato Exchange, and ELDP Alum Cameron Allison (Class 13), farm operations manager at Wild Goose Farms. To round out the week, the class had the opportunity to visit the H&A Farms packinghouse in Mount Dora, as well as blueberry and strawberry fields. Meet ELDP Class 14: ??
