Florida Center for Nursing Executive Director Rayna Letourneau, PhD, RN, will give a data presentation on The State of Nursing Education in Florida as part of the FCN Education Symposium, presented in collaboration with University of Florida College of Nursing March 7. flcntr.org/symposium Continuing Education Credits will be offered for program content (4.5 hours total). Recent FCN research shows that current efforts and strategies are working. According to the Florida Center for Nursing State of Nursing Education in Florida 2025 report, retention rates have improved for practical nursing (PN) programs (72% AY 2022-2023, 73.85% AY 2023-2024) and have slightly improved for Associate Degree of Nursing (ADN) programs (76.3% to 77.24%). BSN programs maintained a high retention rate (84.43%).
