This week I am attending the ICAO Aviation Safety and Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation Symposium hosted in Abu Dhabi- the Flight Safety Foundation was asked to “set the stage” for the event with its wealth of accident and serious incident data. It was great to share the stage with Mohamed CHAKIB, MSc , ICAO Mid Regional Office and Martin Puggaard Director and Chief Investigatir of the aviation Unit at the AIB Denmark. A fantastic Panel led by our moderator Haaba Baldeh from International Civil Aviation Organization

Vice Responsabile Emergenze e Security Manager, Milan Bergamo Airport - Componente del Consiglio di Amministrazione, Comitato e Fondazione 8 ottobre per non dimenticare
What a fantastic and exiting seminar organized by Flight Safety Foundation in partnership with #ANAC (Brazilian National Civil Aviation Agency). I'm grateful and honored for having attended the #IASS2024 on behalf of Fondazione 8 Ottobre 2001 - per non dimenticare. The long lasting relationship between the two foundations is a clear testament on how professionals/technicians of the Air Transport sector and Family Members of an Aircrash victims association can sinceraly bond and work together to constantly advocate for and push forward to increase #AviationSafety. My and our most sincere gratitude to Dr. Hassan Shahidi, and its fabulous team at #FSF, for their commitment and pivotal role in our industry!

I had a privilege to contribute to Flight Safety Foundation Artificial Intelligence in Aviation panel held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The panelists and I shared our thoughts on this emerging technology and how it can be adopted in the complexity of Aviation Safety. We agreed that human oversight will remain essential, ensuring AI complements rather than replaces human expertise in critical safety processes. Thank you FSF team for the invitation and the opportunity to present!
