It has been 1 year since filming the Mobilizing for Monuments Road Trip Film. Our storytelling and advocacy efforts helped expand Berryessa Snow Mountain and San Gabriel Mountains National Monuments, safeguarding over 100,000 acres of natural beauty and honoring the profound connection tribes have to these lands. A year on, #Flickr, SmugMug Films, Rivian and The Conservation Alliance are still working to achieve permanent protections for the proposed Chuckwalla National Monument and exploring opportunities for permanent protections across the Dolores landscape.
