Congratulations to Senator Larry Liston and his colleagues in the Colorado state legislature for success in moving HB1040 past the Colorado Senate Transportation and Energy Committee! Last night's 6-3 bipartisan vote was a big step forward and we were thankful to be a small part of it!

For years we've been told that "there's no need for thorium, uranium is cheap and abundant..." Well, every day it seems like that is getting a little less and less true.

A new video we've generated takes you on a deeper dive into some of the technical aspects of the thorium fuel cycle that influenced the historical development of these fascinating reactors, and that have also guided Flibe Energy’s reactor design approach.

Groundhog Day, unfortunately, seems to be the appropriate metaphor for the way our nation approaches the challenge of spent nuclear fuel. Whether it's like the groundhog emerging from his burrow only to be frightened by his shadow, or the more recent metaphor of the same story repeated endlessly, we're not getting new ideas and new strategies around spent nuclear fuel from the government masters of this problem. We at Flibe Energy know what to do and how to do it. Come talk to us. Don't jump at phantom fears, and don't keep regurgitating the same failed strategies. Let's do the right thing for once and strengthen our nation with it.
