FEEL GOOD FRIDAY: Inspiring the Next Generation at the Great American Teach-In!? Stacey Johnston, Interior Designer at FleischmanGarciaMaslowski (FG+M) Architecture, volunteered at Curlew Creek Elementary for the Great American Teach-In, marking her third year bringing the world of design to life for young students. Stacey shared photos of FG+M’s educational projects and then led an interactive session where students helped design a classroom, choosing colors, furniture, and space layouts. She even brought an ottoman for a fun, hands-on experience with the materials used in real projects! Joining her was Gustavo Trujillo, an FG+M Architect, who taught students about Architectural Design, explaining how activities like playing with Legos, building forts with cushions and blankets, and drawing and coloring can spark an interest in a career in Architecture. Last Friday, some of our FleischmanGarciaMaslowski (FG+M) team enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of the Wesley Chapel Library jobsite! Led by FG+M’s Project Architect Rich Emerson and Bandes Construction, the Construction Manager, our team got an up-close look at the progress, with nearly 90% of the steel framing complete and decking well underway.
