Now that winter is upon us (mega winter for some around the Great Lakes), it is time for a refresher on how to clear your windshield. The top photo is not safe. The bottom left photo shows a clear windshield but the snow on the hood will cause visibility problems while driving. Clear ALL the snow from your windshield and hood (and roof and lights) before driving in snow. Snow was falling at 2 inches per hour when I took this photo so it was already getting snow covered as soon as I cleared it. Sometimes it is safer to not drive. #snowdriving #winterweather #lakeeffectsnow
关于我们
Bob Mossing and Phil Moser are passionate about fleet safety. They “geek out" talking about keeping drivers safe. We call ourselves geeks because we really are geeks about this stuff. Someone has to be and we’re more than happy to take on that role. Fleet safety is so important for making the roads safer not only for fleet drivers, but for all drivers.

"More than 70 people have died in traffic crashes in Cleveland so far this year..." Come help Cleveland meet Vision Zero by becoming their Vision Zero Coordinator. Learn more about City of Cleveland - City Hall's Vision Zero here - https://lnkd.in/gduCt63A #WDoR2024
Today is World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims. Tragically, more than 70 people have died in traffic crashes in Cleveland so far this year, outpacing the fatal crash rate from previous years. Over the last few years, the City has received over $10 million in grants to improve road safety. While we work to get those improvements out on the streets, we are also rolling out quick-build traffic calming designs including speed tables, centerline hardening, delineated curb extensions, and crosswalk enhancements like pedestrian hybrid beacons. We also have posted the City's first Vision Zero Coordinator job position! Join our team to help us make progress on this important issue. Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/eKEXQVT2 #WDoR2024

Happy Halloween, everyone! ???? As we get ready to enjoy the festivities, let's remember to keep our roads safe for all the little trick-or-treaters out there. ???? Here are a few tips to keep in mind: - Slow down: Be mindful of speed limits, especially in residential areas. - Watch for pedestrians: Be extra cautious, especially at intersections and crosswalks. - Put away distractions: Keep your eyes on the road and avoid using your phone while driving. - Designate a sober driver: If you're planning on celebrating, make sure you have a safe way to get home. Let's make this Halloween a safe and spooky one for everyone! ????

This is an important video everyone should watch. We need to be accountable for our actions on the roads. Yes, traffic enforcement was down during Covid-19 to reduce person-to-person contact but that does not mean the roads are a free-for-all (which they have become). Police enforcing the laws of the road is only one part of safer roads. You, the driver, are the most important part. Pam O’Donnell lost a husband and a daughter because of an irresponsible driver. Do not let your actions make you, or another innocent driver, a statistic. #EyesUp #PhonesDown #DoNotDriveDistracted #DoNotDriveImpaired https://lnkd.in/g_aruyU5
