January was a fantastic month for most retail propane dealers in the United States. After a brief warm up to begin February, the back half of the month could see a return to the deep freeze for large swaths of the country. We discuss the weather pattern evolution in today's Propane Buzz. https://lnkd.in/gtjMEzwJ

The EIA announced a massive draw of 7.9M/bbls for the week ending January 24th, 2025. This might be the second-largest weekly draw on record. We discuss that, plus we take a look at what might be on tap for February weather in today's edition of The Propane Buzz https://lnkd.in/gMhRyTHG

Propane inventories showed a 3.7M/bbl draw this past week, for the week of January 10th through January 17th, which was one of the coldest weeks across the country we have seen in many years. The domestic demand data didn't seem to add up. Plus, we look at the evolution of the weather forecast into February in today's Propane Buzz: https://lnkd.in/g9tpZndq

January of 2025 is off to an incredible start for home heating demand for much of the country, and it will stay that way through the rest of the month, based on current weather modeling. If the forecast for the next two weeks verifies, January of 2025 may wind up with the second-most GWHDDs of any January since 2014 and barely falling short of that epic month. We talk about that and more in today's Propane Buzz: https://lnkd.in/gBKE3P2z

Coast to Coast Below Normal Temperature anomalies are in the forecast for the next TWO WEEKS, with folks in the western half of the nation getting in on below-normal anomalies for much of the next MONTH?!?! That's in today's Propane Buzz, linked below: https://lnkd.in/ggEx2FVY
