Alex is a two-time recipient of the Department of Justice Director’s Award, reflecting his outstanding legal performance and dedication to excellence. Before joining the Firm, Chris was an attorney at a large, international law firm in Cleveland, where he focused on representations of boards of directors and audit committees of public companies involved in large-scale government investigations, complex criminal defense, and high-stakes civil litigation. Chris earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University Law School and served as a student attorney in the Criminal Practice Clinic. He was also an Articles Editor for the Law Review and participated in Moot Court and Mock Trial. This event honored several distinguished individuals, including Nic Barlage, CEO of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Mayor Justin M. Bibb, Micki Byrnes, President and General Manager of WKYC Studios, Lillian Kuri, President and CEO of the Cleveland Foundation, and Dick Pogue, Senior Advisor at Jones Day.? ? Additionally, this event included a meaningful tribute to remember two fallen police officers, Jamieson Ritter, Cleveland Police and Jacob Derbin, Euclid Police, honoring their service and sacrifice to our community.? ? We want to extend our gratitude to everyone who assisted with this great event that brought many people of all industries together to connect and honor people of significant importance and remembrance.?

Flannery Georgalis, LLC proudly announces that Benjamin Fisher has passed the bar exam and is now an Associate Attorney, in the Pittsburgh Office. His practice focuses on complex and sensitive matters, with concentrations in healthcare, investor fraud, and other financially sensitive white-collar matters. He earned his Juris Doctor at the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University, where he graduated cum laude. During his studies, Ben gained valuable experience as a member of the Appellate Moot Court Board and competed in three national trial advocacy competitions. He also assisted Professor Jane Moriarty as a research assistant. While in law school, Ben worked as a summer associate with Flannery Georgalis, LLC from 2023 to 2024. In addition, he gained substantial experience while working as a Certified Legal Intern with the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office, where he further developed his advocacy skills and understanding of criminal practice. Before law school, Ben interned with a financial compliance consulting firm. CONGRATULATIONS?BEN!!!
