We are delighted to welcome Mark Pittsey to Flagstar where he will head our growing Private Bank and Wealth Management businesses. Reporting to Rich Raffetto, President of Commercial & Private Banking, Mark will be jointly based in Northern California and New York City. In previous leadership roles at top-tier institutions including HSBC, Deutsche Bank, and Wells Fargo, Mark has built product teams and managed client businesses from consumer banking through ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices. With a proven track record of delivering business results, Mark joins Flagstar at a critical moment in the bank’s continued forward progress. Mark’s extensive background not only informs his leadership style but also will help shape Flagstar’s strategic direction while underscoring the bank’s commitment to a client-centric focus in its private banking and wealth businesses. “Delivering customized relationship solutions with impeccable client service is the foundation of our business model. Mark is a seasoned executive with a vision for introducing client solutions across a spectrum of banking and investments.” Most recently, Mark served as Head of Global Private Banking Americas and Wealth and Distribution USA at HSBC, where he led all strategic, governance, operational, and business aspects of the private bank and retail wealth team. In this role, he managed 560 employees, and more than $80 billion in total private wealth assets and bank deposits. Prior to his executive role at HSBC, Mark held senior leadership positions at Deutsche Bank and Wells Fargo, where he successfully led teams and cultivated strong client relationships across Northern California and Seattle. “This is a great time to be joining Flagstar,” says Mark. “The bank is poised for meaningful growth as it continues its transformation into a leading super-regional bank.
