Excited to share some photos from the Westover Hills therapy team during their pilates certification training! This is a new initiative that's already seeing exciting results-- like in the case of an 87 y/o female patient with limited bed mobility. After including pilates in her therapy routines, the team reported that despited being in a wheelchair for 3 years, she was actually able to build up the strength to walk 50ft! The goal for outpatient DOR Brady Donner, and DOR Nicole Rodriguez is for the therapy team to take principals of pilates and apply to ALF/ILF settings to improve overall outcome.
