The Boeing 737-400 aircraft (C-GGWX), which was operating flight NRL662, took off at 9:58 a.m. from Jean-Lesage International Airport in Quebec City, bound for Saguenay-Bagotville Airport, where it was scheduled to land around 10:57 a.m. But the aircraft did not land at Saguenay (YBG) due to an unsafe gear indication. Nolinor Aviation Boeing 737-408 with registration C-GGWX suffered left landing gear malfunction while operating flight NRL662 at Aérocité Internationale de Mirabel (YMX) on November 27, 2024. According to the Transportation Safety Board (TSB), the plane landed "with one main landing gear up." Two workers were rescued by an Eurocopter AS 350B2 Ecureuil helicopter on Tuesday afternoon (26), after being trapped at the top of a wind tower, at a height of approx. 60 meters, in the municipality of Areia Branca due to a generator fire, in the western region (Costa Branca) of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. The rescue was carried out by the Integrated Air Operations Center (Ciopaer), an agency of the State Secretariat of Public Security (Sesed), which was called due to a fire in the structure of the wind turbine, located in the Mel Wind Farm. Though the fire was quickly controlled by the company's emergency brigade, the two maintenance staffs, remained trapped at the top of the tower, due to failures in the lifting system and adverse conditions due to the fire at the site. ??
