Ken S.? Yeah, we know him ?? No big deal ??
I recently caught up with Carmel Lewis Lachel of BRC Imagination Arts and our conversation made me remember how "The Ghost of the Castle" continually rises to the top of my favorite projects. It was the best equation of being in the same room with talented people (Sameer Kawash, Derek Hibbs, Lacey Hutchison, Tom Tait, Chuck Roberts, Richard L. Procter, to name a few), creativity, technical exploration, and an experience that resonated with the client and audiences. At 15-years old, it's still showing at Louisiana's Old State Capitol. Even producing the goofy mockumentary feature - the Little Documentary that Couldn't - that won a few awards and served as a portfolio piece for Matt Lambro, myself, and others, was a great learning lesson about storytelling, editing, characters, and audience engagement. Heck - David James Nielsen composed a wonderful music score that made our silly venture sound legitimate. I also recently caught up with a former supervisor from my NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration days at the NASA Ames Research Center and sadly learned the TV Production Department is no more, similar to what has happened with several visual effects companies and animation studios. The young punk Ken from the early 1990s was ridiculously lucky that beyond patient mentors David Maurantonio, Ed Schilling, Eric James, Paul Langston, & Wade Sisler taught me a lot before I left to reinvent myself at the ArtCenter College of Design. I am so fortunate to do this as a career. While it's been feast or famine (nature of the business when you are the hired gun on project-to-project), it has been one amazing life learning lesson to another and an exhilarating ride that I've done with powerhouse talents, financial gurus, legal eagles, and technical wizards. So many people to name but just look at my LinkedIn profile with the companies I've worked for and there are at least 20 or more people I can call rock stars from each organization. While I posted this already, I'm reposting it again... Thank you again to the Producers Guild of America for including me in the "Produced by" March - April 2025 magazine's member spotlight with other talented Producers joining the organization. Beyond humbled and proud! Shout out to past teammates & mentors at NASA Ames Research Center, LAPD, Walt Disney Imagineering - particularly Universal Creative colleagues & vendors (all rock stars) who I worked with on the Universal Beijing Resort. Thank you everyone for the inspiration, creativity, hands-on experience, and collaboration. I cannot gush my gratitude enough to you. Cheers!

Our CEO Traylor Woodall had an amazing time at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025!
What an amazing week at ISE2025! There were so many takeaways, new connections, and experiences but here are a few highlights I walked away with: - AI content- PROS - LG had a great immersive experience that allowed visitors to create their own personal avatar and get screen time on a massive LED Wall. CONS - Many exhibitors clearly wrestled with leveraging AI generated content for large format screens. While AI does generate easy, visually rich content, getting it scale to the 4k+ sizes was clearly a challenge. - Catalonia Talent Tank - I was blown away by Catalonia Talent Tank, an entire section of the hall dedicated to small creative & technical studios. It opened my eyes to an incredible talent resource. - Barcelona - I was deeply moved by the beauty and kindness of this city. The architecture, art, history, and food were only surpassed by the wonderful humans I met during my stay. I can't wait to come back and dig deeper! #ise2025 #barcelona #ai
