Second Stop of the 2024 Fitwel Certification System Taiwan Road Show! We visited the 富士康 headquarters in New Taipei City, which received the Fitwel 3-Star Rating in 2022—the highest score globally. This makes it the first certified existing building in Taiwan that integrates manufacturing lines, office spaces, dining areas, and more! After navigating the challenges of the pandemic, it was a pleasure to finally visit the founding headquarters of this international electronics leader with Joanna Frank. Special thanks to Mr. Hung, the Chief Sustainability Officer of 鴻海精密工業股份有限公司, for personally guiding us through the rooftop solar power station and edible landscape, and for demonstrating how to create organic compost using worm bins. We thrilled to have facilitated such a valuable exchange and honored to be part of Hon Hai Group's sustainable blueprint!

"2024 Fitwel Certification System Road Show" – 9th Stop! Horizon Design & Construction Company focuses on user experience and corporate culture shaping as the core of its design philosophy, firmly believing that good design can bring energy and make a positive impact on daily life. This approach has earned them the trust and partnership of major industries, including technology, finance, and healthcare. Not only do they integrate sustainability into their space designs, but they also reflect it within their own corporate culture. Last year, Horizon Design celebrated its 35th anniversary and officially launched its ESG initiatives. This year, their headquarters in Taipei achieved Fitwel Certification System 3-Star certification—the highest level. Unlike other projects with new office spaces, their headquarters is located in a 20-year-old building in the city center. The team worked creatively within the limitations of the existing structure, implementing Fitwel strategies through furniture, spatial reorganization, and plant planning. We are excited to witness the direct impact that Fitwel has had on the design process!

"2024 Fitwel Certification System Road Show" – 4th Stop! Jeou Tarng Development has been established for 36 years, focusing on high-quality residential projects in central Taiwan. Among several projects currently applying for Fitwel certification, three have already received star ratings! Jeou Tarng headquarters covers a vast area. In addition to the main building, the surrounding forested land serves as Jeou Tarng’s unique "Tree Bank," reflecting the chairman’s love for trees and nature. They have also integrated health and natural elements into their corporate culture, providing a comfortable work environment and healthy dining options, contributing to an employee turnover rate close to 0%. The team guided Ms. Joanna Frank on a tour of their headquarters, showcasing the unique details and how their corporate culture aligns with the Fitwel philosophy. The tour ended with a delightful tea tasting featuring organic tea from their New Zealand plantation. Congratulations again to Jeou Tarng Development for receiving Fitwel 2-Star Certification for their residential project “Shining Castle”!
