For the longest time, Shatabdi Das thought she had it all figured out. At least in theory. “I understood fitness concepts, but when it came to my own life, I couldn’t apply them.” At 34, weighing 84 kgs, she was stuck in a loop of body dysmorphia and declining self-esteem. Her struggle wasn’t new. “I’d been guiding others on fitness, but when it came to my own health, I was lost.” She tried intermittent fasting, hoping it would work like magic. “I lost about 4 to 5kgs, but I was drained, foggy, and frustrated.” Her body was in survival mode, holding on to every ounce of fat.
