Fite Building Company is proud to announce our partnership with the City of Huntsville, AL to bring the new state-of-the-art John Hunt Park Recreation Center to life! The new John Hunt Park Recreation Center will elevate Huntsville’s recreational scene, featuring 25 lighted and covered pickleball courts, 4 full-sized gymnasiums, and a fitness center. We're excited to break ground this fall and create a hub for the growing pickleball community and more! Congratulations to Austin Gibson for being named among AGC's Top 40 Under 40! The Alabama AGC (Associated General Contractors of Alabama) and Business Alabama honor the top 40 individuals under 40 in Alabama's commercial construction industry who exemplify leadership, professional excellence, and a dedication to the field. Since joining Fite Building Company in 2021, Austin has been a driving force behind our civil division and has overseen the preconstruction and management of our self-perform operations, fueling our company's growth. His leadership was instrumental in the successful completion of several major projects including Renasant Bank, Polyplex Line 14, projects at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, Fairfield Inn & Suites, and Gregory Industries, to name a few. Currently, Austin is managing the Huntsville Public Safety Training Facility Phase II project and plays a vital role in our Fite Plus One community outreach initiative. We are excited to announce the newest member of our team, Kaleb Cook, who joins us as an Assistant Project Manager. Kaleb brings a wealth of experience and a unique background that makes him a perfect fit for our company. Kaleb studied architecture and civil engineering at the University of Texas San Antonio before transferring to the University of Nevada Las Vegas. With 6 years of hands-on experience, he has been involved in significant projects, including commercial concrete and metal buildings in Las Vegas such as the Raiders Stadium, Tesla Tunnels, and T-Mobile Arena. His journey then led him to the home building sector in Auburn/Lake Martin and Huntsville. Originally from deep in the heart of Texas, Kaleb now calls Huntsville home. He shares his life with his wife and their two beloved “kids”—a 4-year-old German Shepherd named Koda and a 2-year-old cat named Lucy. Kaleb is passionate about giving back and has been involved with St. Jude Children’s Hospital before moving to Huntsville. Outside of work, he enjoys anything outdoors, especially spending time with his family surfing, snorkeling, and sailing the ocean blue. Fite Plus One team members enjoyed a fun day of roasting and fellowship at the 4th Annual ?HICA! Pig Roast in Birmingham! We had an incredible time supporting this amazing event that brings together the love for barbecue and celebrates the rich Latino culture in the Magic City. All proceeds go towards ?HICA!'s vital programs and scholarship fund, helping Latino students achieve their dreams of higher education. We are thrilled to announce that Tyler Mask has joined Fite Building Company as Senior Project Manager. With a Bachelor’s in Building Science from Auburn University, Tyler’s impressive career spans over 11 years working on a wide variety of projects including the Bridgestone Off Road Radial Tire Plant, the new US Federal Courthouse in Huntsville and most recently a 42-bed women’s dementia center in Madison. Tyler, a proud father and husband to Abbey, lives in Madison with their two daughters, Huntley and Blakely, who are competitive dancers. They are active members of The Church of The Highlands, and Tyler is passionate about Make-A-Wish, currently serving as Chair for the North Alabama Council. Outside of work, Tyler enjoys waterfowl hunting in Arkansas, golfing, and cherishing every moment as a “Dance Dad.” This year, he’s excited to take his daughters on their first duck hunt!
