Exciting news! Fite Building Company has been awarded the New UNA Residence Hall project in Florence, AL! The LaGrange Residence Hall at the University of North Alabama is scheduled to open in 2026. This seven-story, 54,000+/- GSF complex will be home to approximately 190 students, featuring double-occupancy rooms, spacious living rooms/studies on each floor, an ICC-500 rated storm shelter, laundry facilities, a resident director’s apartment, and even a campus convenience store! We’re thrilled to announce the groundbreaking of the John Hunt Park Recreation Center, soon to be Huntsville’s largest pickleball facility! This state-of-the-art, 60,580 sq. ft. center will feature: four full-sized gymnasiums, four basketball courts (with the ability to transform into 8 volleyball courts!), a concession area and restrooms connecting the gyms to a vibrant main building, a fitness room and multi-purpose activity spaces.
