The summit's topic was "Franchising Misunderstood—How Storytelling Can Protect a Small Business Model," and we are incredibly thankful to the people who joined us to discuss this hot topic. ? The day kicked off with a warm welcome from Fishman PR President?Debra Vilchis! Next up, we introduced?Katherine Knight Patterson, Senior Director of Communications and Public Affairs at?the International Franchise Association,?who took the stage alongside?Cody O'Hara, Vice President of?Franchise Elevator PR, for a thought-provoking conversation: "The Franchising Model Under Attack: Leveraging PR to Change Minds & Save Small Business Ownership."?It was a full house of excited PR/Content Marketing professionals eager to learn and ask questions! ?? Next, we welcomed our wonderful panel of #franchisees: Jason Stucky, Color Me Mine of St. Charles & Glenview, Gwynda Jones & Monica Nia Jones, HOTWORX of River North (by the way, they are a mother-daughter duo! ?? ), and Theresa Napolitano, Dogtopia of La Grange!
