We are honored to celebrate the outstanding achievements of three exceptional physicians from the recent annual Fisher-Titus Medical Staff Award Ceremony! First, we applaud Dr. Tim Thomas with the Milestone Achievement Award. This award recognizes his remarkable 42 years of serving patients in the Fisher-Titus community, during which he has served on a variety of committees, held leadership positions, and collected countless patient reviews reflecting the compassion and kindness he shows to every patient. Next, community members were asked to name a physician who best demonstrated outstanding patient care, community involvement, and commitment to patients. This year, the Community Choice award found its home with Dr. James D. Kasten. Nominations for Dr. Kasten consisted of kind words including, “He went beyond his duties for me and my son. We are blessed to have him!” and “I owe him my life and I am forever grateful for him.” Lastly, our own Fisher-Titus team had the honor of identifying a physician who demonstrates exceptional patient care and safety, community involvement, commitment to Fisher-Titus, support to staff and colleagues, and overall leadership. Chosen by our very own staff, Dr. Kaylinn Dokken was the winner of this year’s Employee Choice Award. A few quotes from her nominations include, “She's great with patients, is kind to staff, and very helpful overall” and “She goes above and beyond for her patients, she's very kind towards all staff, and is very helpful and hands-on when needed.” Please join us in congratulating these exceptional physicians who have demonstrated unwavering dedication to our people, patients, and community!
