This past Veterans Day, GE Aerospace donated $400,000 to three non-profit organizations to help support veterans and their families with housing and counseling in times of need, in addition to taking part in volunteer events nation-wide. GE employees volunteered at Fisher Houses across the nation, helping with landscaping, meeting with families, and taking care of household needs. Thank you for supporting veterans and their families! At 104, Army veteran David G. Perez has lived a long, full life of devotion to his family and country. "When in service, I thought of my family and friends. I'm proud of my country, but my family is what kept me strong." Enlisting in 1941, he received two Bronze Stars during his service. Later he married and had two daughters and, today, his daughter Felicia is his caregiver. After a fall caused a TBI, David and his daughter were able to stay at Fisher House.
