In 2024, First Step provided financial literacy education to approximately 175 clients at our Philadelphia location. This year, we’ve officially launched our 2025 Financial Literacy program and are excited to surpass last year’s impact! A huge thank you to Steve from Citadel Credit Union for helping us kick off this initiative. First Step Philadelphia will be hosting weekly financial literacy classes through June, covering essential topics such as basic banking, budgeting, credit building, and even purchasing a first home! We’re committed to empowering our clients with the knowledge and tools they need for financial stability and success. When tragedy strikes, hope rises. In the wake of last month’s devastating fires, our Southern CA team refused to stand by. With hearts full of determination, we quickly mobilized—collecting essential baby supplies like formula, diapers, and wipes, alongside clothing, non-perishables, and gift cards from major stores. On January 31, with the strong support of First Step Staffing and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul USA we delivered a generous donation to the Eaton fire victims in late January. This powerful act of unity reminds us that even in our darkest hours, compassion can spark change. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who donated.
