We are so proud to partner with Marriott International on an evolutionary renovation at the AC Marriott National Landing in Crystal City, VA—just a hop, skip, and a jump away from our nation's capital. Just weeks after the hotel's acquisition, the fast-track transformation began and included a new building facade and patio, lobby expansion, swimming pool conversion to fitness center, new prep kitchen, and 350+ guest room renovation. Last week, we were thrilled to give our Shawmut family an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of our extensive renovation of one of Miami's oldest oceanfront hotels, The Shelborne South Beach. It has been such an honor to play a role in reimagining this historic hotel, at a time when so many other historic buildings are under threat. Though the renovation includes several new food and beverage destinations and lavish resort amenities (pool, lounge, cabanas, sundeck, fitness center, private beach club, etc.), the work was accomplished while preserving The Shelborne's original 1940s art deco charm and persona!
