During National Health Center Week, the American Cancer Society wants to acknowledge and thank all of our community health center partners for their invaluable contributions to our shared vision of ending cancer as we know it, for everyone. Give Kids A Smile is a national program that was launched in 2003 by the American Dental Association Foundation to give?free screenings, fillings, caps and other restorative care to underserved children. This year, the First Choice Health Centers, Inc. is hosting its first ever Give Kids a Smile Day on July 20, 2024. We will be providing Prophy (Dental Cleaning) , Fluoride, Sealants and restorative treatment to kids up to 14 years old. We will also be educating parents about their child’s dental needs. The ADA has been generous enough to provide GKAs embroidered exam/preventative dental kits to our Center and in return, we provide free care to hundreds of Underserved Children. In addition to feeling amazing by taking care of others, there will be food, goodies, and a fun filled day! Members of First Choice Health Centers, Inc. Dental department have already signed up to volunteer their time, skills and expertise to make this event a success. ?
