MAB Engineering Services (MABES) has renewed its Service Agreement with Piedmont Propulsion Systems, LLC (PPS), a First Aviation Services Inc. subsidiary based in North Carolina. This partnership builds on a technological joint venture initiated in 2020 and includes a two-year contract for Firefly’s Propeller Blade Maintenance Programme. This program will enhance MABES’s propeller maintenance operations for ATR72 aircraft, providing valuable benefits to MAG’s overall operations. In addition, MABES signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Meraque MY Services, a provider of drone-powered and AI-driven solutions for managing critical capital assets. Tango Flight, Inc., where S.T.E.M. takes flight, receives several recognitions after first flight of its Vans RV-12iS built by Bassick High School Students in Bridgeport, CT. Steven Blume, the program teacher received the “Elizabeth M. Pfriern Civic Leadership Award” for inspiring generosity and personal investment to improve public education and student outcomes. The Arthur & Gladys Lunin Humanitarian Award was presented to Tango Flight Inc. in recognition of outstanding public and community service to the Bridgeport Public Schools, and Congressman Jim Himes presented the Certificate of Special Recognition to Tango Flight Partnership. Tango Flight is supported by First Aviation Services Inc. which launched the program at Bassick High School in 2021 with mentor volunteers from the Fairfield Country community. They are now on their second build.
