Last week, Jeffery Montgomery and Lily Raccasi introduced ???????? (Simple Pattern Target Recognition) to an incredibly engaged audience at #GORP Demo Night. They shared how ???????? is transforming firearm training through gamification, real-time feedback, and data-driven insights—making it more accessible and enjoyable for all skill levels while offering the precision and accuracy that users need to improve. ?? Similar to how Topgolf transformed golf into something anyone can enjoy, #SPTR takes what is often seen as technical and exclusive and turn it into something approachable, engaging, and effective for everyone. ?? ??Highlights from the presentation??: ?? ???????????????? ???????????????? ????????????????????: SPTR brings a competitive, interactive, and social element to training that encourages skill-building in an engaging way. ?? ????????-???????? ????????????????: Like seeing your golf stats at Topgolf, SPTR tracks every shot and gives instant data to refine and improve your accuracy and performance. ?? ????????-???????????? ????????????????: SPTR's cloud-based analytics provide actionable insights for individual training and business intelligence for ranges and manufacturers. We’re grateful to the GORP community and Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation for this opportunity to showcase how we’re bringing innovation to firearm training. ?? A huge thanks to our team and everyone who supports our mission of "???????????????? ?????????????? ????????????." #FireWatchAI #TechStartup #FirearmTraining #FirearmInnovation #AI #ComputerVision #OutdoorRecreation #AccuracyThroughVision

    Veteran/Founder - FireWatchAI | Walmart - Pharmacy Data

I’d like to announce a pair of major team moves at FireWatchAI. Lily Raccasi as Co-Founder and Vinay Chilaka has Cheif Technology Officer. First of all I have elevated Lily Raccasi to co-founder. The effort and passion she has put into the project since coming on board is unrivaled and she has even carried the torch ahead of me at times in the last few months. Founding teams are ones that compliment each other and Lily’s attention to detail, tenancity and ability to light a room talking about our product really told me that I had found the right partner for carrying the company forward with. Vinay Chilaka has taken the 20% product we had before and helped propel us toward our first true MVP which we are hoping to test and demo later this month. His experience in AI systems and endless work since joining the team has truely helped turn the project from an idea to a reality. Both Lily and Vinay are indispensable in our goal of building smart and engaging digital technologies for the firearm industry.

???? ???????????????? ???????????? ????. ???????????????????? ????: ?? ?????????? ??????????????????! We’ve all seen ???????????????????? ???? make headlines—it’s the tech behind AI-created art, automatic text generators, and even chatbots. It’s creative, exciting, and shaping industries by generating new content from existing data. But at ??????????????????????, we focus on a different aspect, spcifically ???? ???????????????? ????????????, to enhance firearm training and deliver real-time insights to boost your shooting skills. But how does this differ from ???????????????????? ????? Let's break it down: ?? ???? ???????????????? ???????????? focuses on ???????????????????????? ????????-???????? ?????????????????????? ???? ???????????? ????????. Think of it as "eyes" for a machine that detects, analyzes, and processes images and videos. At FireWatchAI, we use it in our ???????? (Simple Pattern Target Recognition) system, which detects bullet impacts, analyzes shot patterns, and helps improve marksmanship through real-time feedback. It's all about precision, accuracy, and data-driven skill-building. ?? ???????????????????? ????, on the other hand, is the creative force that’s capable of ???????????????????? ?????? ?????????????? like images, text, or even code by learning from large data sets. It's particularly valuable in tasks where creativity and productivity is needed, such as marketing materials, creative design, or data augmentation. While AI Computer Vision provides insights by "seeing," Generative AI creates something new from existing and historical data. Two distinct AI powerhouses transforming the startup industry in different ways! ?? Last Friday, ?????????????????????? joined the biggest celebration of Northwest Arkansas' startup ecosystem: #StartupCrawl. This event, hosted by Startup Junkie , was a great opportunity for us to showcase our company and connect with the vibrant community of local entrepreneurs shaping the future of #NWA. ?? At our booth, we unveiled our ???????? prototype and invited visitors to take part in a Nerf gun shooting challenge. Participants had 3 tries to hit the targets and win exclusive discounts for the official SPTR launch. We also hosted a raffle ??? where participants had a chance to win a FireWatchAI backpack, shipped straight to their door—on us! ???? We were pleased with the turnout and the strong interest in what we’re building. Engaging with so many curious and supportive visitors throughout the event was a rewarding experience. It was a successful day of building awareness, making connections, and sharing our vision with the community. From the founder:

Interns are not labor, they’re opportunity. 1) They’re still learning; and I don’t mean this in the “they make mistakes” kind of way. I mean it saying that they’re still in that phase of skill development where they are having to be adaptable. Learning and forgetting new skills on an almost weekly basis. As their stewards it’s up to you to give them the tools that enrich their growing skillset, reinforce what you’ve been teaching them, and allow them to practice those skills practically. This is immensely valuable for a company that is wanting to try out a new tech or explore new directions. Sick the intern on it and see what they come up with. When I was given Ethan Moss as my VIPintern from the Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation I had asked for a computer science person to help me round off the development of my User interface unit. I knew I had a gem on hand when he delivered a decent mvp in just two weeks. I remembered from his resume that he had blender and unity experience, which is indicative of someone wanting to go into game design, so I asked him if he wanted to start building out our gamification system. To do this I bought him a 30 course (usually $1500 value) instructional series on Godot, a new open source gaming software and told him to use his internship time for a couple weeks just learning. Dude was pumped and I felt good enabling his growth both professionally and personally. 2) Treat an intern like a future peer: usually interns are already super driven, I was never an intern myself in school (hard to intern in history after all), so treat them less like a temporary worker and more like like high-potential junior leader. One of my favorite coworkers in my last role at Walmart was Grant Resler, a mechanical engineering co-op from the UofA. He joined our team to do some general fabrication and design work and quickly added value to a project I’d been struggling with for months on designing a good container system for. I gave him as much of the limited 3D printing knowledge as I had and let him loose on the problem. What started as a mentor relationship turned into a peer one quickly as he was able to demonstrate his abilities on his own given the freedom to operate, now his designs have the potential to be placed onto tens of thousands of Walmart forklifts. 3) Lastly, interns are the future: Not just of your company if you choose to hire them post grad, but of your entire industry. They can grow into your competitors, into your company’s future VPs; treat them like it. The worst thing you can ever do is have your intern leaving their time with you wondering if they chose the right career field or if they wasted their semester with your organization just (hopefully) collecting a meager paycheck. Lily Raccasi has phenomenal experience across healthcare, insurance, and supply chain in internship roles, each one asking her to come back after she graduated. Did your company make the impression to bring her talents back?
