We are excited to expand our security portfolio to include cybersecurity services for our small business clients. It's an unfortunate reality that no one is too small to fall under the radar of cyber criminals. The good news is that an effective combination of policies, procedures, training, and tools can dramatically reduce the risk. The need for a robust cybersecurity program has become critical for any business, and we look forward to partnering with you to navigate this digital risk landscape. https://lnkd.in/gUNWBQSr

Cybersecurity risks will only increase, and unfortunately, no business is too small to be under the radar. Share from John Spiegel.
Cybersecurity breaches are projected to have a significant economic impact by 2025. According to Cybersecurity Ventures, global cybercrime costs are expected to grow by 15% annually, reaching $10.5 trillion USD per year by 2025. These costs encompass various damages, including: - Destruction of data - Theft of money - Intellectual property theft - Personal and financial data theft - Business disruptions - Legal investigations - Reputational harm This anticipated increase underscores the critical importance of robust cybersecurity measures to protect against the escalating threat of cybercrime. Maybe it’s time to invest in some #ZTNA in 2025?

Key findings from this report: ?? Since the implementation of SEC cybersecurity rules in December 2023, there has been a?60% increase?in the number of cyber incidents disclosed by public companies. ?? 25%?of incidents were linked to third-party vendors, highlighting the vulnerabilities in supply chain relationships. ?? Threat actors leveraged SEC disclosure requirements as an extortion tool, filing whistleblower reports about non-disclosure and publicizing them online. ?? Financial Services, Healthcare, and Technology sectors were the most impacted, reflecting their high exposure to cyber threats. ? Companies are advised to seek legal and cybersecurity guidance to navigate the complexities of SEC requirements effectively.
Excited to share our analysis of the SEC cybersecurity disclosures over the past year. Our report analyzed 75 disclosures issued by 48 public companies that disclosed cybersecurity incidents between December 18, 2023 and October 31, 2024. We review: -The amount of time between when a public company is made aware of an incident and when it files a disclosure with the SEC; -Which individuals are filing the required SEC disclosures on behalf of their public companies; -What information is being included in these disclosures and how public companies and the SEC are determining “materiality” as it relates to an incident; -Which industries have been most affected by the new SEC rules; and -How threat actors have chosen to exploit the new rules to blackmail public companies. Deep insights on close protection from Adv. Timm Irvine-Smith at Ronin SA. The whole podcast merits your attention, but the discussion at 16:00 focuses on the fundamental principal of close protection. https://lnkd.in/gjaRPKUN
It was a profound privilege to have been invited on the Hurdles and Horizons Podcast and Damian Zielinski was a deeply insightful host. Watch him take Timm to places and experiences he had long forgotten but that had played a role in the rise of Ronin SA in the international close protection training Community. https://lnkd.in/d_dzAz9e
