Our Story In 2007 Stuart Reyburn set out to find a way to help fire & ems departments on limited budgets get the equipment they need to keep their communities safe. He discovered the best way to accomplish this was to refurbish fire trucks and remount ambulances. His experience as a firefighter, business owner and heavy equipment specialist put him in a unique position to create a one of a kind business, Firetrucks Unlimited. The popularity of refurbishments and remounts caught on quickly, so his wife Cindy and two sons Brian and David joined the team to help keep up with the demand and grow the business. Since then, we have become the most experienced and largest fire truck refurbishment company in the world. Our Mission To help fire & ems departments achieve their public safety mission by providing the best emergency equipment at the right price. Special Thanks to Homer Township Fire District for working with us on their 2012 E-One Typhoon Pumper Refurbishment! Testimonial from Chief Doyle: "We refurbished a 2012 E-One Engine that was in good condition but we were looking to extend the vehicles service life another 10-12 years. With the cost of new apparatus skyrocketing, we investigated refurbishing as a viable option. We found Firetrucks Unlimited online and were impressed with what we saw and with their extensive experience. We contacted five of their previous customers and all five were extremely satisfied with their final product. We also got proposals from three companies and Firetrucks Unlimited was less expensive than the others. Their customer service before the sale was exceptional and far exceeded the others. That exceptional service continued throughout the build process up to delivery. The completed project far exceeded our expectations.
