Our thoughts are with those who were impacted and working through the aftermath of the catastrophic Hurricane Helene. Starting today, 10/2 through Sunday, 10/6, all U.S. Firehouse Subs restaurants are raising money to support.?? ? All funds collected will benefit the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation’s disaster relief fund, which aims to deliver food and support disaster relief and recovery efforts, as well as equipment grant requests from area organizations and relief agencies.? ? We are committed to looking for ways to help the community during this tough time. And, we’re proud that the Foundation donated $20,000 to the American Red Cross following the disaster. The donation will help the Red Cross provide much needed aid and disaster relief by providing for the most basic and essential humanitarian needs including shelter, food and water, health and mental health case support. It’s First Responders Month at Firehouse Subs and we’re thrilled to celebrate hometown heroes across the U.S. and Canada with a special deal and by raising funds for the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation! ? ? Last week, we brought together our entire Firehouse Subs family including franchisees, vendors and corporate employees to Austin for our 30th Anniversary Reunion. It was a special week spent reflecting on the three incredible decades of history that built the brand we are today. These foundations have enabled us to become the industry leader in hot sandwiches, guest satisfaction and supporting our community. We also were excited to discuss some of our upcoming plans for 2025. Here are a handful of highlights: *This year has been a step up in unit growth, and we are excited to see momentum continue into 2025. I’m particularly proud of all the folks joining our brand through our First Responders and Veterans Development Incentive Program where we are offering $100K cash to new franchisees joining Firehouse Subs after their time serving our communities. *We are expanding very quickly throughout Canada and will be one of the fastest growing restaurant chains in the country, going from one to five provinces within 12 months. Our local and community-focused Canadian franchisees are doing an exceptional job. *Our digital platforms remain a top priority, and we’re excited about the benefits that kiosks can bring to our restaurants. Our app continues to become a more relevant part of our brand, which we are now offering first party delivery on. *Our new Next Gen Kitchen and faster steamers are showing promising results, which can help us unlock more speed and efficiencies in our restaurants’ back of house. *Our Foundation continues to do incredible work, having raised over $90M towards lifesaving equipment. We had a record-breaking Foundation fundraising event, where the generosity of our franchisees continues to amaze us all. Lastly, it was a genuine pleasure to learn from our incredible guest speaker, the most decorated Olympian of all time, Michael Phelps. We were moved listening to him share stories from his inspirational career and personal journey.
