Firefighters Community Credit Union is not just for firefighters. Membership is open to EVERYONE who lives, works, worships or attends school in the following Ohio Counties: Geauga, Cuyahoga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit. Our mission is to help people live frugally, save smarter and borrow for less. Like all credit unions, FFCCU is a not-for-profit, member-owned financial cooperative. Unlike some other financial institutions, our profits go right back to our members in the form of lower loan rates, higher interest on deposits and fewer, lower fees. We offer the same products and services as banks, including savings and checking accounts, debit cards, Visa credit cards, online and mobile banking, auto and home equity loans, mortgages, and IRAs. But we’re unique because we pair those products with personal, friendly service. Our highest priority is genuine care for our members. So you’ll enjoy a warm, family environment while accessing tools to manage your finances hassle-free. With more than 34,000 members, FFCCU is one of the largest credit unions in northeast Ohio – thanks to our fiercely loyal members who keep referring us to their family and friends. Since 1936, we have grown to include four branch locations around Cleveland. You can also access us through more than 32,000 fee-free ATMs around the country, any of the 5,000 shared credit union locations, and our Anytime Access options, which include Phone-a-Loan, Trans-Act Line, mobile and online banking, e-Statements and Bill Pay. Your savings insured to $250,000 per account by American Share Insurance. This institution is not federally insured. Members accounts are not insured or guaranteed by an Government Sponsored Agency.

  • Sparky's pals are available for adoption from our community partners at City Dogs Cleveland - Let's meet Luna! Playful potato alert! This 4-year-old pup is just the right mix of spunk, smarts, and sweetness. Luna is a playful and well-mannered girl who is ready to bring her bubbly charm into your home. This chonky, 71-pound mama is overall a low-key lady. She can sometimes show a surprisingly athletic side, at least in short bursts, as she has enjoyed short runs and walks around the park with our volunteers. However, her favorite activity remains rolling in the grass! She also makes a good car passenger, waiting patiently to arrive at the next destination. Luna is also a smart cookie who knows her commands and is housebroken. She has mastered sit, paw, other paw, and lie down, impressing volunteers and staff with her intelligence and eagerness to please. She's also pretty quiet, and a non-stop wagger! She's generally not too in-your-face with the affection, though, and she can be self-sufficient. She simply radiates joy, and she's great for someone who appreciates a dog with a bit of sass and spunk. Luna has played well with other dogs in our play group and may do well with a doggy sibling after proper introductions. Luna should not go to a home with cats, however.
