This week Fireblast Product Hightlight is the Falcon EX 250 PV. This portable trainer represents a 250 Gallon LP Tank commonly found at residential homes, businesses, and manufacturing facilities. Includes a 3ft x 4ft heavy duty steel platform with a simulated 250gallon LPG cylinder. HD casters for ease of movement around the training environment for varied training scenarios. Burner flame production system representing an LPG tank impingement fire with pressure relief. Locking hinged valve cover. Simulated Fuel/fire shut-off valve. Vapor and liquid LPG capabilities. Wheel chock securing devices with built-in travel holder. Mockup includes built-in securing device for transport trailer application. Designed for installation in the FLAG (Flammable Liquid and Gas) transport trailer. Falcon EX mockup require the Falcon EX 10 Controller and Falcon EX IGP for operation. This weeks product highlight is the Falcon HZM Tanker 40. This trainer provides opportunity for fire suppression and spill management. General Information This is a summary of specifications for the Falcon HZM Hazmat Tanker 40 live fire and spill training prop. The Falcon Series provides quality flame performance, training versatility, and attention to training requirements demanded by the fire service. The unit is designed to accommodate training in a manner which will provide for safety first while allowing for realistic training scenarios. The Fireblast systems utilizes Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) in the vapor and liquid state as the fuel source. This specification includes an over- the-road 40 ft tanker trailer, constructed of stainless steel. The Falcon HZ Series utilizes an Industrial grade operating system with a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). The equipment includes fail safe gas equipment and UL approved and listed components including a UL 508A certified control panel. Purpose The training unit has been designed to meet both the minimum requirements of entry level fire service personnel at the First Responder operational level, and advance training scenarios to provide refresher skills and meet ongoing training requirements for the Hazmat Technician and Hazmat Specialist classification levels and certification as specified in the NFPA 472.
