?? Exciting Visit at Fire-Dex! ?? Today, our CEO Steve Allison welcomed U.S. Congressman Max Miller, 7th District of Ohio, to our facility. This special visit was organized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and attended by the Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce Business Advocacy group. The day included a productive discussion with Congressman Miller focused on Pro-Growth Tax Policy, followed by a tour of our Fire-Dex facility alongside members of the Business Advocacy group. We recently partnered with RTI International to test the efficacy of particulate barriers in turnout gear. While particulate barriers can offer additional protection, they can make turnout coats much less breathable. This test aimed to find out if a properly donned self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) could provide the same levels of protection as particulate barriers at the coat/pant interface.
