Arise Sir Gareth! Last Saturday, we celebrated Southgate’s eight years as England manager by unveiling a portrait of the man himself outside Wembley. The portrait, created by artist Quentin Devine, depicts Gareth Southgate wearing his iconic waistcoat with a Knight Bachelor’s badge, awarded to those who have been knighted. It was inspired by results from our client @Ladbrokes whose survey revealed that 44% of football fans want to see Southgate knighted for his efforts as manager of the Three Lions.
