At the beginning of Finmark, around 2011, just a few brothers were working and growing our small business. Fast-forward to 2024, and we have become an established construction company in the Flathead Valley, crafting significant custom homes for incredible people. While many of our family members are still vital contributors to our team, collaborating with many experts in their field is one of the core aspects of our success. We have expanded to more than 30 employees and have worked with many of our local and national trade partners. Our journey to success has been marked by seizing unique and collaborative opportunities. One such opportunity arose when we were tasked with building a custom home on one of the only islands on Flathead Lake. We needed a simple and efficient way to transport materials to and from the island property to meet this challenge. Leveraging our vast network and collaborative partnerships, we connected with MJO Contracting, a specialist in this type of work near the Great Lakes. They quickly adapted to our needs, providing a custom barge that has since become an invaluable asset to our building process on Flathead Lake.
