Review of Factory Visit: Valmet Shrewsbury On February 26, 2025, Teresia Moller and Petri Perinne from Finlandia Foundation Boston had the privilege of visiting Valmet Flow Control's world-class valve manufacturing complex in Shrewsbury, MA. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Valmet operates at the pinnacle of excellence in industrial flow control solutions. Thank you hosts for the insightful evening! From raw material processing to final quality control, the efficiency and expertise displayed at every stage were nothing short of remarkable. The integration of automation and sustainability initiatives underscored Valmet’s commitment to operational excellence and environmental responsibility. Following the tour, a thought-provoking discussion on tariffs and their impact on global supply chains further enriched the experience.
