?? One-Day Orientation on Waste Management ?? Under the Khushali Swachhata Initiative by DCM Shriram Foundation, the FINISH Society team conducted a one-day workshop on waste management at Landmark Crown Housing Society & Mahalaxmi Puram Housing Society. The session began with a Saraswati Pooja, followed by an insightful discussion led by experts on solid waste management, segregation of dry & wet waste, and the harmful effects of plastic. Participants, including household staff, sanitation workers, security guards, and society managers, learned about 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) and their role in keeping the society clean. A special video presentation highlighted the consequences of improper waste disposal. Society members appreciated the initiative and pledged their support for a cleaner, greener future. ?? We conducted blood tests, HB screenings, and measured height & weight for our young stars, ensuring early detection and better health. A huge thanks to the dedicated supervisors, Anganwadi teachers from ICDS, ANMs from PHC, Asha workers, School principal and teachers for joining hands in this vital cause.
