Workers in the US value salary LESS than workers in Canada and globally, according to recent research from #ADP. Only 52% would rank it among their top three important job attributes, compared to globally (55%) and Canada (61%). The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (#EEOC) issued the final version of new workplace harassment guidance for employers on Monday. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) voted to ban virtually ALL #noncompetes on Tuesday. Businesses will be #PROHIBITED from even proposing a non-competition agreement to an employee or #contractor. Roughly 4 million employees making less than $58,656 may now be eligible for #overtime. The U.S. Department of Labor issued a final rule today increasing the #FLSA's salary threshold from $35,568 to $58,656, effective Jan 1st, 2025.
