?Is Your Courage LOUD or quiet? ?? In today's world, doesn't it seem like everyone's courage is so very LOUD? ?? On some days it seems like every social media post is about climbing this mountain, scaling that rock or jumping out of the proverbial airplane. ?? In my book, Find Your VOICE as a Leader, I write about how courage can be a very quiet, almost intimate, thought, feeling or action that only is known to a few select people...or even just to ourselves. ?? And in my service role as a mindset coach, I understand that sometimes the most courageous of actions just happens to be something that is very meaningful to our own growth and development...and thus, does not need to be broadcast as a huge triumph...but it remains a huge triumph to us. ?? ?? In fact, sometimes the most courageous thing we can do is to remain quiet with our own accomplishments and then continue to serve others to they can reach scale that mountain. ??? ?? ??No Pain No Gain...NO WAY?? ?? Conventional Wisdom says that in order to grow and develop, we have to push ourselves, always step out of our comfort zone, be uncomfortable, work hard, and work hard some more! ?? To nest and live in a growth mindset does not always require hard work, painful steps or living in an uncomfortable situation 24x7. ?? I think it is time for us to re-think the way we approach our goal setting and this need to always feel pain or discomfort in order for us to grow and evolve as a person. ?? As a coach and a human, I have had success in my life by learning to remove barriers, easily, that are holding me back in order to grow and move ahead. It does not always have to be a "big painful push" through those same barriers. ?? There is sometimes a much easier way to just stop holding yourself back and allow yourself to naturally move forward. Let me know if I can help you to try this approach! ????♂? ?
