At Find Your Grind, we teamed up with TGR Foundation to reimagine a cutting-edge learning lab in Anaheim. But this wasn’t just about upgrading a space, it was about creating real impact. Hockey shaped my life in ways I never could have imagined. Here's why... Growing up in Southern California, hockey wasn’t the most popular sport. If you weren’t from the East Coast or Canada, you weren’t always taken seriously. But from the moment I stepped on the ice, I was all in. It wasn’t just a sport, it was everything. Hockey taught me how to compete. How to lead. How to push past limits when things got tough. That mindset shaped the way I approach business, creativity, and everything I build today. Now, years later, I get to give back to the game that gave me so much. Partnering with the Anaheim Ducks to bring hockey to more schools and communities is a full-circle moment. Because I know firsthand what this game can do for a kid. It’s not just about hockey, it’s about access, opportunity, and the lessons that stay with you for life.
