Creating one digital expert that helps design team avoid recalls, reworks, and obsolescence.
关于我们
At fes.ai, we leverage decades of experience in creating mechanical joining solutions for industry leaders such as Caterpillar and Ford. Our founders have worked with virtually every vehicle type on the planet, from semi-trucks to backhoes, supplying engineered fasteners and automation solutions for a range of designs. During the recent global pandemic, we identified two major issues within our field. Firstly, many mechanical engineering programs neglect to teach about critical assembly elements like fasteners, glues, welds, and torqued joints – components used in everything from iPhones to tractors. This gap often leads to costly mistakes as engineers make decisions with limited guidance. Secondly, engineers often struggle to utilize their PLM tools effectively to locate parts, resulting in unnecessary calls to vendors or distributors, contributing to substantial obsolescence costs. We've set out to address these problems head-on. Our innovative tool connects all parts in your system to the specific details of their use – who, when, and how. Further, it provides a digital expert to help designers navigate the parts list, preventing potential mistakes and duplication that could cost millions on every new project. Especially in this era of rapid EV program launches, our solution ensures efficiency and accuracy in design and assembly.

We’ve gotten a bunch of new followers in the last followers in the last few weeks, so here’s some info about what we do as a company.
CVO Finding Fasteners Inc. | Co-Founder Battery Sealing Solutions |Transforming EV and Renewable Energy through Innovative Solutions
Are you happy with your #ERP? #PLM? Do you have a good dataset of parts that lists everything used to make your product? If not let's talk! ?? From McMaster-Carr to Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., thousands of things are used to build the products of the world, from a Tesla to an Apple product. From tools to fasteners to fuses, it takes an army of engineered components to assemble everything we use worldwide. Whether you make the components or the end product, managing all the parts in your system correctly is nearly impossible, but ERPs and PLMs try to help with that goal. The problem with those tools is twofold: 1. Many parts of the company, from engineering to sales, don't know how to use them, and so they make their own spreadsheets of part lists that grow and multiply into the thousands at a legacy old company. 2. The list in the ERP or PLM is often incomplete. When you search for a common part or solution for a new product, you need every attribute to be searchable.?It must all be in one list, from dimensions to coatings to where it's applicable in your products. If you ever hope to use the 1000 #AI tools being pitched to you, you better get that list together. At Finding Engineered Solutions, we build Digital FAE?? tools or digital field application engineers for OEM designers and?vendors that support them. Like in the picture above, our digital experts start with a data set, and we can help you clean up your own. In doing so, you'll save millions on every program, new and old.

Good news for the fastener market! All signs show a growth in the industry ??!
CVO Finding Fasteners Inc. | Co-Founder Battery Sealing Solutions |Transforming EV and Renewable Energy through Innovative Solutions
The industrial #fasteners market is expected to grow $34 billion by 2031 with a 5.5% CAGR! ?? That’s the good news from Caterpillar Inc. To Google to Tesla The bad news is every OEM in the ?? is trying to reduce costs at exponential rates. “Porter's five forces study emphasizes the importance of buyers and suppliers in assisting stakeholders to make profitable business decisions.” The above couldn’t be more true in the current environment. OEMs need to stop asking for price downs, and their vendors need to be better partners when it comes to obsolescence prevention and mistake avoidance for their design engineering customers. Finding Engineered Solutions wants to join the vendor, tiers, and the OEM in a singular mission to reduce cost in a better way. Stop hiring high price “McKinsey like” consultants that charge $$$ millions and provide nothing more than a stock bump. From the tier to the OEM there’s a knowledge gap that leads to mistakes, and the data set internally isn’t searchable or comprehensive. We believe that if we all work together, we can find the cost downs needed without killing programs and laying off crucial workers. The stud attaches to the car and the clip attaches to the stud. Which stud type, clinch to drawn arc is the decision but so is the complete solution with the clip choice factored in. New eco option from Stanley. Our takeaway from selling clips for years is to make sure any plastic that snaps on to your vehicle from wing brackets to brake line is easy to assemble and designed with a proper stud or birds beak type clip. Don’t go cheap when you can save on the assembly cost.
While no-hole fastening has long offered advantages over hole-based systems, our Eco Fastening Platform (EFP) takes things to the next level. EFP starts with the Eco Stud. A lightweight, compact fastener for both aluminum and steel. Paired with an extensive range of recycled plastic clips designed for easy assembly across multiple applications: ?? Door panel fixation ?? Brake line routing ?? Wire harness management ?? And more All while retaining the benefits of no-hole fastening – reduced corrosion risk, improved sealing, single-side access, and greater design flexibility. One stud. Multiple solutions. That's the EFP advantage. #Fastening #EcoFriendly #AutomotiveManufacturing

New screw for plastics? Does remform?? or pt screws have a new competitor? We don’t know anything about them so let us know if you tried them yet? Thread formers are one of the most used screws in automotive especially #EV. Another player in tbe market could be interesting. https://lnkd.in/gaCpx-48

It’s all about the #evbattery, and it’s got to last 20 years ??! When’s the last time you owned a car for that long? Battery packs and boxes are crucial to EV from semis to buses to cars. You can buy your drive and pack, but owning the designs gives you advantages that ?? never found. That said, it’s an assembly nightmare if you ever need any help ??! https://lnkd.in/gsVfpr47

No fasteners needed ??! Machine cuts it and leaves connections for the metal to assemble into itself.

Its as strong as a weld, and serviceable in your plant. No more torque is a huge savings for any assembly process.
From the very beginning – all the way back in 1940 – Huckbolts have been game changers in joint design and #innovation. What makes them so special? Huckbolts are engineered #fasteners that provide consistent, measurable clamp, so your #engineering team knows their joint will perform exactly the way they designed it to. We do this with direct-tension installation rather than torque fastening, and our version of a bolt and nut fastens permanently during installation for superior vibration resistance. Check our website out to learn even more about how #Huck works. #huckisforever
