?? First-time speaker moment! Had the incredible opportunity to step on stage for the first time in a professional capacity, speaking in front of 40+ cybersecurity professionals. I shared how BforeAI is shifting the cybersecurity approach from reactive to predictive and preemptive—stopping threats before they even emerge. The energy in the room was amazing, and the audience was highly engaged—nothing better than sparking discussions that challenge the status quo! It was also great to collaborate with FinCyber Femmes, contributing to their mission of creating a more inclusive space for women in cybersecurity. A huge thank you to BforeAI for giving me the platform and trust to represent our vision. Grateful to be part of a team that pushes boundaries and believes in innovation. #Cybersecurity #PredictiveCybersecurity #WomenInTech #PublicSpeaking #Networking #BforeAI

Thank you to everyone who joined us at our inaugural Washington, DC area event hosted by Capital One on Tuesday, November 12! TIH CISO Kristina Dorville served as MC for an engaging afternoon of panels and presentations, and Dina Atwell provided welcome remarks. Mandy Misko moderated a discussion featuring Monica Maher, Alexandra Mace and Lauren Kohistani about the non-traditional paths that led them to careers in cybersecurity and how unconventional backgrounds can be an asset. Following a briefing on China by an expert from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Elizabeth McAlpine-Geary moderated a discussion featuring Kristen (Segui) Worosz, Kathryn Condello and Kristin Royster about how the financial sector, energy sector, and communications sector collaborate through the Tri-Sector Working Group to ensure the resilience of these lifeline sectors. Matthew Goard, Chair of the National Cybersecurity Alliance Board, closed out the event with a recap of #CybersecurityAwarenessMonth2024. Attendees were then treated to a social hour at Stellina Pizzeria sponsored by Permiso Security and Silent Push. We appreciate everyone who planned, participated in, and attended the event – you all played a part in our success. We look forward to having another DC area event soon!

???? I had an amazing time welcoming the FinCyber Femmes to Capital One yesterday! ?? To be surrounded by women in Cyber who work at a Financial institution like myself was amazing! The panels exceeded my expectations, I met so many talented and impressive women, & I felt so lucky to be apart of this group. ?? HUGE thank you to Alexandra Mace who heads up the DMV chapter and was amazing to work with, Kristina Dorville for her remarks and bringing such a wonderful group of women together, & all of the other volunteers and attendees. Shout out to our Women in Cyber group for sponsoring our snacks and always supporting opportunities for our associates (Nicole Washburn, JD, CFE, CCP), Lillian Teng for providing me with the opportunity to work with FinCyber Femmes, and of course Alexandra "Lexie" V. & Sarah Wolfe for helping pull it all together! & of course a shoutout to Candice Camp for always supporting me to organize events for our associates and community! Can’t wait until the next event! Hope to see you there! FinCyber Femmes ??
