Day 5 marked the grand finale of our International Business Conference, and it didn’t disappoint. We began the morning with coffee and breakfast, courtesy of Groupe BPCE, while enjoying stunning views from their top-floor boardroom. Jacques Beyssade, Secretary General of Groupe BPCE, shared his expertise on cooperative banks in France and the role of banks during times of crisis. celine haye-kiousis, General Counsel and Global Head of Legal at BPCE, followed with an engaging overview of banking law, regulation, and the legal landscape in France and Europe. The afternoon took us to the Palace of the Legion of Honour, where we enjoyed a private tour of the Grand Chancellor's residence and explored the Museum's fascinating rich history of the Legion. We wrapped up the day with a captivating talk by Alexandre Holroyd and a wonderful closing dinner at Drouant, generously hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) — a perfect ending to a full and rewarding day. Day 4 of our International Business Conference in Paris was nothing short of incredible! Our morning began at Banque Transatlantique, who graciously hosted us for both breakfast and lunch. The day unfolded with valuable takeaways from an impressive lineup of speakers. Franck Duez took us on a journey through the history of Banque Transatlantique and explored the complexities of business and investments. Jean Frédéric Werup followed with key perspectives on international wealth management. Marion Cluzeau and Aline Mai energized us with their thoughts on innovation, sustainability, and ESG investment strategies. Before lunch, Aurélia de Garsignies shared thought-provoking ideas on philanthropy. In the afternoon, JP Morgan hosted our delegation for an engaging session featuring accomplished speakers covering a wide range of meaningful topics. Financial Women's Association President Annette Stewart and Barbara Riccardi opened the day with a warm welcome, followed by Jean-Fran?ois ROBIN’s thought-provoking take on the state of the global economy. Marina Demeyere Marchand CFA then hosted a captivating panel with Dr. Barbara Weber and Frank Pluta, tackling the future of energy and low-carbon growth — a timely conversation with lasting impact. Later, Annette guided an uplifting conversation with Barbara Riccardi and Isabelle BILLECOCQ, who shared their incredible career journeys and the realities women leaders face in finance. Yesterday, we kicked off our 2025 International Business Conference in Paris with an unforgettable opening dinner at the iconic Chez Francis, setting the stage for what promises to be an incredible conference. Today, we launched into a full day at Skadden Law Firm with two thought-provoking panels. The first, “AI within Financial Services,” featured Nicola Kerr-Shaw, Margot Sève, and Dr. Ségolène Dessertine-Panhard, who explored AI’s transformative impact on finance, from cutting-edge applications to risk management challenges. Next, “Recent Trends in EU Regulations” brought together Nicola Kerr-Shaw, Joséphine de Sonneville, and Margot Sève for an in-depth discussion on evolving regulatory frameworks, including a deep dive into anti-money laundering measures and more. Many thanks to Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates for providing coffee and lunch to fuel the engaging conversations. In the afternoon, ORCOM La Défense hosted a session on “International Development of French SMID Companies,” where Xavier Poulet-Goffard and Laurence Lemouzy shared insights on navigating the French market as a foreign business. Aymeric Berrendonner also delivered a compelling discussion on the complexities of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) role in an era of rapid digital transformation. The day concluded at Dauphine, where a panel hosted by The Dauphine Wo.Men Club and the Dauphine Foundation featured Carol Sirou (EthiFinance), Elodie LAUGEL (Amundi), and Claudia BELLI (BNP Paribas) discussing women’s empowerment, responsible investing, and inclusive finance, moderated by Isabelle de Fraiteur. With the closing reception still to come, today’s discussions underscored the evolving landscape of global business and leadership.
