Attending SXSW? Great news: you’ve got 1-2-3 different opportunities to connect with the TFC! First, at the Film Texas, Film & TV Industry networking event, which we’re proud to help host as part of the Texas Association of Film Commissions (TXAFC) on 3/7 at the The Stephen F. Austin Royal Sonesta Hotel. Next, you’ll want to make sure to stop by our Make It In Texas! Film, TV and Digital Media Meet Up on 3/8 at the Hilton Austin Downtown. TFC Marketing staffers Robert Rodriguez and Steven McCaig will be hosting and would love to meet you, learn about your projects, and let you know why Texas is the #1 option for media production in 2025! Finally, TFC Director Stephanie Whallon will be taking part in the Indie Financing: Grants, Tax Credits & Film Commissions panel discussion on 3/9 at the Austin Convention Center alongside Gino Anthony Pesi from the PA Film Office and Lisa Torres of RiseImpact Capital, LLC. They’ll aim to educate attendees about the landscape of global production incentives and working with film commissions to maximize a project’s resources. We can’t wait to see you at the fest!
