We understand how challenging it can be to care for yourself after ALL the hard work you do to ensure your patients are safe and well taken care of. Nursing is a job that’s NOT for the faint of heart. But we also know that in this job, there can be little time to take care of yourself. That is why we created “Restore.” “Restore” is a live virtual holistic wellness retreat made to help you nurture your mind, body, and spirit through mindful moving meditation, sound healing, and tarot reading. My Journey in Nurse Innovation: From Inspiration to Action In 2018, I stumbled across Rebecca Love RN, MSN, FIEL TedTalk and it changed everything. Her message showed my students that nurses don’t have to fit a mold—we can think differently and still make a powerful impact. That’s when I knew we had to push the boundaries of what nurses can do—we can #innovate. By 2019, I was teaching a Nursing Innovation class to undergraduates at Thomas Jefferson University College of Nursing, and that's where the idea for the #NurseTank was born. A space where nursing students could develop and showcase their ideas, challenging the status quo in healthcare. Then, in 2020, I joined the Johnson & Johnson Virtual Nurse Hackathon, and it was there that Fifth Window was born—a project centered on the well-being of nurses. And today, I’m here at HLTH USA as a nurse entrepreneur, representing NurseApproved in the #NursePavilion. I’m also coaching nurses in the first-ever NurseApproved #Nurse Hackathon.
