In honor of?the fifth annual Fiesta Sports Foundation?Kindness Arizona?initiative, Governor Katie Hobbs has officially proclaimed the week of March 24-28, 2025 “Kindness Arizona Week.” The weeklong program begins Monday, March 24, at the Fiesta Bowl Museum in Scottsdale with a kickoff event, featuring the official proclamation, to lead off eight service projects and events over five days of delivering acts of kindness and community impact. “Kindness comes in all shapes and sizes, whether as a grand gesture or, more often than not, a simple act that makes a huge difference in another person’s day or life,” said Fiesta Sports Foundation Executive Director & CEO Erik A. Moses. “This year’s Fiesta Sports Foundation Kindness Arizona Week showcases the many different forms that kindness can take. It’s such a rewarding program, starting with the Governor’s Proclamation as Kindness Arizona Week to kick off the festivities and then we hit the road to promote and share kindness with a tour around the Phoenix metro, Payson and the Navajo Nation to assist communities in need.” This year’s expanded Kindness Arizona caravan is highlighted by the first-ever Kindness Arizona stops in Payson and Navajo Nation. Fiesta Sports Foundation staff and volunteers, including Board of Directors, Yellow Jackets and Ambassadors, will come together for eight service projects and events that will range from delivering meals to building woodsheds and providing haircuts to those in need. ?? “A beautiful day for football.” ?? ?? Arizona native and NFL alum Marquis Flowers was our featured guest for today’s Arizona Milk Producers? Fiesta Sports Foundation Youth Football Clinic at Agua Fria High School. Our largest clinic ever drew 600 students from Avondale Elementary School District , who enjoyed non-contact football drills, pizza and chocolate milk, and a Q&A session with Flowers. Special thanks to the high school football teams (boys and girls flag) from Agua Fria and Desert Edge, who served as our guest coaches for the event.
