Sadly, Jordan is not the only one. The FBI has said that over 20 minors have committed s*icide because of s*xtortion scams in the last few years. To speak more about this horrific and incredibly prevalent side of digital exploitation, we invited Jordan's father John to share what he wants other parents to know and the ways he is tirelessly engaged in protecting youth from s*xtortion, s*x trafficking and other harms online. John believes social media is no place for teenagers - and for parents to take a hard line for their kids because of all the risks and dangers young people face. This is what collaboration looks like. ?? Still fired up from our time yesterday speaking with 100+ local incarcerated individuals and staff about the realities of sex trafficking and how they can play an active role in prevention.? We also had the privilege to partner with Dekelen Griffin of MBM Corp. to speak a message of empowerment to these individuals about creating a new future through changing their mindset. ?? We're so grateful to the staff who coordinated this and are hopeful for more awesome future opportunities to reach this population.
